Equipment Needed:
Acceptable collars are a flat, buckle collar, a slip lead or martingale collar. Other collars may be used with instructor approval. You will need a 6’ leash, we recommend that you use a leather leash that is comfortable in your hand, and if you will be using treats we that you use a bait bag to more quickly reward your dog. Tip: Treats are more valuable to a hungry dog!
Class Structure:
There will be a course set up prior to class starting; we will start class by walking the course together and discussing the various signs on that weeks’ course. Please plan to arrive timely so that we can all walk the course at the same time. There will be demos for signs as needed. After walking the course together, everyone will have a few minutes to walk on their own and then dogs will begin running.
Although there may be more than one dog out at a time, please keep a 6’ distance between dogs at all times. Although dogs may be friendly, we want them to know that class time is not play time with other dogs. Please also be aware that not all dogs are friendly with other dogs.

What should I bring?

How long is each class?
Classes run one hour or a bit over.
What time should I arrive?
Please come about 15 minutes early so you have time to let your dog potty.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Yes, email with questions about ongoing or future class schedules and sign ups.
Where does my dog wait?
Dogs that are not running may be out of their car, but we encourage you to have your dog wait in a crate in the car so that they become familiar with how a trial would be.
What is the cost of class?
